Beef

When you chose us to raise your beef, it is alongside ours, out on pasture.

We have identifying ear tags in all cattle & pigs, so from the time you place your order, until the time the animal reaches your plate, we have complete traceibility.

We move the cattle to fresh grass, every day in the spring, summer and fall, which keeps them on new pasture always eating the best of the best grass.   We don't use any chemical fertilizers on our land, so this organic method of controlled grazing allows the cattle to fertilize the soil for us naturally. This results in better grass quality, and very happy, healthy animals.

It's a very cool win-win-win method of farming.


How can I get beef fresh from the farm?

You can reserve your beef by following these simple steps: 

1.   Fill out an order form by placing your order and paying your deposit through our farm store.  Select how much beef you would like and fill out the cut sheet, and you are ready to have us raise your beef. We will send you confirmation that your order has been recieved.

2.   Follow us on Facebook and Instagram and see if you can spot your cow!  We post often so you can see exactly how we are raising your food and learn more about what we do.

3.   Sign up for our emails so you can receive updates from the farm, the latest blog posts, and get advanced notice when ordering opens up or specials.

4.   Before the beef goes to the butcher we will contact you to ensure we have the correct cutting instructions, then when your meat is ready in the fall, we will arrange delivery or farm pick up.  We love when people come out to the farm and have a look at what we are doing, don't forget to bring the kids!

5.   Ask your friends if they know where their meat came from because you know where yours came from and how it got to your plate.

When you reserve your pork with us you are choosing pork raised in a way you can feel good about.  We raise our pigs out on the land free to graze root and roll in the mud.  We house them in movable pens so we are able to control where they are rooting, which allows us to use them as natural rototillers who also fertilize the land so we can turn it into new pasture in the future.  All the rooting gives them exercise which results in great tasting meat.


How can I get Pork fresh from the farm?

You can reserve your Pork by following these simple steps: 

1.   Fill out an order form by placing your order and paying your deposit through our farm store.  It is super straightforward just select how much Pork you would like and fill out the cut sheet, and you are ready to have us raise your Pork.  If you have any issues or questions, please shoot us a message or give us a call and we will get you set up. 
We will let you know when your order was received as well as your total due upon pick-up/ delivery.
